Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking an ER Nurse to deliver compassionate nursing care in the Emergency Department. The RN works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and nursing supervisor, coordinating patient care across infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations.

The role emphasizes patient‑centered care, teamwork, flexibility, and resourcefulness in interactions with patients, visitors and hospital personnel, ensuring adherence to the medical plan of care and facility

Qualifications

• RN credential required with active license to practice (RN).

The ER Nurse, under supervision of the Nurse Manager and the nursingsupervisor is responsible forthe nursing care of the patients in the emergency department and is responsible forthe direction of patient care. The RN delivers care based on patient needs appropriate forthe infant, pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients. He/she demonstrates an interest inpatient centered approach to total nursing care. Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. The RN shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.
