Vitruvian Health's Bradley Medical Center - Main Campus in the Bradley area is seeking an experienced ER Nurse to join our Emergency Department full time. You will deliver direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and nursing supervisor.

The ideal candidate holds a state RN license (Tennessee or Compact) and is BLS certified, with ACLS and PALS within 6 months of assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with licensure verification.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State RN license required.
• BLS required at hire; ACLS and PALS within 6 months of assignment.
• Two years of hospital or ED experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver patient-centered care across age groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for ED patients across pediatric to geriatric groups.
• Coordinate with Nurse Manager and nursing supervisor on patient care.
• Ensure compliance with policies and the medical plan of care.

Every time.**The ER Nurse, under supervision of the Nurse Manager and the nursing supervisor is responsible for the nursing care of the patients in the emergency department and is responsible for the direction of patient care. The RN delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients. He/she demonstrates an interest in patient centered approach to total nursing care. Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. The RN shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies. Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. BLS required upon hire. ACLS and PALS within 6 months of assignment to the Emergency Department.
