Job summary

Vitruvian Health is hiring an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts at Bradley Medical Center - Main Campus. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered ED care under supervision and collaborate with the Nurse Manager and team to maintain high standards.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license (Tennessee or Compact state) and are BLS and ACLS certified or willing to acquire ACLS within six months. Two years of hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; Diploma preferred.
• Two years of hospital/medical experience preferred.
• Current RN license in Tennessee or a compact state; BLS and ACLS required; ACLS within six months if not certified on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department patient care under supervision.
• Coordinate with Nurse Manager and nursing supervisor to plan and direct care.
• Ensure care aligns with medical plan of care and hospital policies.

Every time.**The ER Nurse, under supervision of the Nurse Manager and the nursing supervisor is responsible for the nursing care of the patients in the emergency department and is responsible for the direction of patient care. The RN delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients. He/she demonstrates an interest in patient centered approach to total nursing care. Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. The RN shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies. Education: Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma preferred. Experience: Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred. Licenses/Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required. Current BLS and ACLS required.
