Connecthcs in North Carolina seeks an experienced Director of Perioperative Services to lead OR, PACU and Same Day Surgery, ensuring safe, high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

You will drive budgeting, staffing, and performance metrics, partner with physicians and leadership, and champion quality improvement across the perioperative continuum.

Competenze

• Active RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Operating Room experience required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of management or leadership experience required.
• Current North Carolina RN License or Compact RN License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Strong experience with budgeting, staff development, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance preferred.

A client of mine in NC, about an hour from Raleigh, is in need of an experienced Director of Surgical Services to join their team.

They are offering a $15,000 sign on bonus!

Info on Dept:
Around 40 ftes, no manager. supervisors on each shift.

The Perioperative Services Department includes the Operating Room (OR), Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Same Day Surgery (SDS). Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to provide safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care across the perioperative continuum. The Director of Perioperative Services provides leadership and operational oversight for these departments, ensuring exceptional patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, and physician satisfaction.

How you'll contribute

Applicants should possess an active RN license and meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• Minimum of five (5) years of Operating Room experience required.
