Job summary

The Director will lead CNA training, maintain records, stay current with NYS DOH and Prometric requirements, and collaborate with nursing leadership to drive staff development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license.
• BSN preferred.
• Experience in nursing education or staff development.
• Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate nursing education and staff development programs.
• Provide orientation and onboarding for nursing staff.
• Teach CNA training classes and coordinate CNA training.
• Ensure compliance with NYSDOH, CMS, OSHA regulations.
• Monitor competencies and conduct annual evaluations.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify training needs.
