Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within an interdisciplinary team in Hackensack, NJ. The role emphasizes comprehensive data collection, bedside assessment, and timely plan-of-care development.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN encouraged within 3 years) with 6+ months of nursing experience or completion of a Nurse Residency program. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity at a leading health system.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Nurse Residency Program

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize changes in patient status and respond appropriately.
• Develop and communicate the plan of care with the health team.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Document care at the point of service in the electronic system.
