Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit in Illinois, offering a $10,000 sign-on and relocation packages. The unit is a 43-bed, high acuity service with CCS/DAISY recognition and close collaboration with surgical residents and OMFS. RN to patient ratios range 1:4–6 for general care and 1:3 for advanced care.

BSN bonus also available. Responsibilities include postoperative care, wound and ostomy management, and nurse-driven care plans.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and active in Illinois (IDFPR) with BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for complex surgical patients.
• Assess and manage wounds including wound vac and ostomies.
• Perform tracheostomy care and monitoring for new airway needs.
• Collaborate with surgical residents and OMFS teams.
