Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois per IDFPR; Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• HS Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties as defined for the unit and scope of service.
• Completes initial patient admission assessment and develops an appropriate care plan.
• Implements care plans and nursing interventions; modifies as needed based on continuous evaluation.
• Ensures patient and employee safety; reports and corrects safety hazards.
• Collaborates with surgical residency and OMFS teams; provides post-operative care.
• Manages complex wound care, including wound vacs and ostomies; supports ostomy education.
• Provides ongoing patient/family education and coordinates with care teams.
