Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day shift responsibilities from 6:00am to 2:30pm within a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule. Offered are a $10,000 sign-on bonus and generous benefits, with night and weekend differentials and education support.

The RN will provide holistic nursing care, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality resident care across all stages of health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• Current unencumbered RN license in Minnesota or multi-state licensure (NLC).
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
