Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care for residents using the full nursing process. You will collaborate with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, educating residents, and potentially serving as charge nurse. Licensure in the state and accredited program completion are required; a drug screen and background check apply upon offer.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA).
• RN license in the state (or multistate license under NLC).
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate resident care.
• Coordinate care with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams.
• Serve as charge nurse when applicable and delegate tasks to staff while ensuring safety.
