Job summary

Good Samaritan, a not-for-profit organization with a century of housing and services for seniors, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time day-shift coverage at the Ellis, KS facility. You will deliver individualized nursing care, coordinate resident plans with families and the inter-disciplinary team, and contribute to high-quality care across all stages of health management.

Responsibilities include supervising care, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff, and ensuring adherence

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multi-state licensure if NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, educate and collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams.
• Serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks appropriately while ensuring safe patient care.
