Job summary

Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process and to collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care. The RN will care for residents across prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment.

May serve as charge nurse and must hold an unencumbered RN license in Kansas.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care and resident education across all phases of prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment.
