Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized resident care using the nursing process across all care phases. You will collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and may serve as charge nurse where needed.

The role requires an active RN license in the practicing state, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Nursing and ongoing attainment of required competencies and certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice; multistate licensure as applicable.
• Maintains required departmental competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide individualized resident care.
• Collaborates with residents, families and inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinates care, resident assessment, education and various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to staff.
• Ensures safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolves concerns.
• Complies with Nurse Practice Act and the Code of Ethics for practice.
