Job summary

Good Samaritan in Ellis, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, day-shift position. The RN will provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process and collaborate with residents, families and the inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The role may serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel, ensuring safe, high-quality care within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN or NLN CNEA).
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing; multi-state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
