RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit‑VI at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. The RN will provide direct patient care on a busy 24/7 unit and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based practice and optimal outcomes.
The role requires active NJ RN licensure, a BSN is preferred, and proficiency with EPIC EMR. Day shift hours are 7:00 a.m.
Competenze
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing (or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement).
- BSN strongly preferred.
- Experience with EPIC or similar EMR is preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
Mansioni
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
- Administer medications and treatments with strong clinical judgment.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families for ongoing care at home.
- Document accurately in the EMR to ensure safety and continuity.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning.
- Pursue ongoing professional growth and clinical ladder opportunities.
