Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an RN for the RWJ Hamilton facility, Nursing Float Pool. The role supports surgical and invasive procedures, with day shift and full-time hours. A NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and acute care experience are required. BSN is preferred; EMR experience with EPIC is expected.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
• ASN or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• 1 year acute care experience required; Med/surg Tele experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate a plan of care for patients undergoing surgery or invasive procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and ensure Operating Room readiness.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to support timely care decisions.
• Provide education to patients and families and document care in EMR.
