Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary care team delivering individualized, high-quality patient care. The role operates under Nurse Managers within a governance-supported practice model and adheres to the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.

The selected candidate will uphold patient voice, safety goals, and Wellstar values while providing compassionate nursing care in a clinical setting. A sign-on bonus is being offered.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or nursing diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current nursing licensure or eligibility in Georgia required upon hire; certifications ACLS/BLS commonly required.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting cultural diversity.
• Partners with patient and family using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Practices using current clinical standards.
• Coordinates safe quality patient care with interdisciplinary communication and timely documentation.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaborates to recruit and retain healthcare team members.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives across stakeholders and engages in shared governance.
