Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team providing high‑quality, individualized patient care in a Day shift setting in Georgia. The role emphasizes evidence‑based practice, patient advocacy, and adherence to professional standards.

As part of the patient services team, you will support shared governance, manage care coordination, and mentor junior staff while ensuring safety and compliance with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing‑Preferred.
• RN – Registered Nurse (single state) or RN‑COMPACT – multi-state.
• BLS – Basic Life Support or ARC‑BLS or BLS‑I – Instructor.
• Less than 1 year since graduation; direct patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice and individualized care.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting diverse populations and cultures.
• Partners with patient and significant others using bedside shift reports, rounds, and planned teaching; updates goals.
• Practices using current clinical practice standards and ensures safe, high‑quality care.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of care with interdisciplinary teams and strives for best practice outcomes.
