Job summary

Haven Behavioral Hospital of West Chester is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in a 72-bed behavioral health setting. The role includes milieu management, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Day shift hours are 7a-7p on a bi-weekly rotating schedule with every other weekend. The hospital offers competitive pay, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license to practice in the state of employment.
• Compact licenses are also acceptable as they apply.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• One year of inpatient hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care.
• Administers medications as prescribed and provides medication education.
• Maintains thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patient progress.
• Reviews and updates medical records per policy and guidelines; transcribes physician orders.
• Coordinates care and communicates needs to staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Float among clinical services and support other duties as assigned.
