Job summary

Pavilion of Ottawa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. The RN is responsible for nursing care, assessment, and evaluation of the care plan for residents. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, medication administration, and adherence to standards.

Key duties include supervising CNAs, monitoring vitals, and coordinating physician orders. Excellent communication, organization, and infection-control practices are essential for success in this on-site role at Pavilion

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing Degree or Diploma and an active RN license in the state.
• CPR certification is required.
• 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.
• Ability to use basic computer applications is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care per physician orders and standards.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Chart nursing notes and document resident responses.
• Monitor vital signs, catheter care, and IV therapy within license limits.
• Direct and supervise CNAs on assigned unit to ensure quality care.
