Job summary

Pavilion Healthcare in Bridgeview, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The RN administers medications, monitors resident health, and coordinates with physicians to implement the plan of care for residents.

We emphasize meticulous documentation, infection control, and a collaborative long-term care approach. Current CPR certification and an active Illinois RN license are required; 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• 1 year of experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to residents as ordered and per regulations.
• Report nursing observations at shift change.
• Maintain clean and sanitary care areas.
• Supervise day-to-day CNA services for the unit.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered.
• Document care notes reflecting resident responses.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents as needed.
