Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join Ambassador, A Villa Center. The RN will assume responsibility for a group of residents or a shift, providing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan.

This role emphasizes keeping residents safe, well-documented, and compliant with standards. Responsibilities include administering medications, transcribing orders, supervising CNAs, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nursing degree or diploma from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Must possess a valid RN license to practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed nursing care to residents as ordered by a physician and in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Record and transcribe physician orders to charts, MARs, and care plans; communicate updates during shift changes.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as prescribed; document care accurately.
• supervise and coordinate day-to-day CNA activities to ensure quality care and safety.
• Monitor residents’ vital signs and maintain a safe, clean environment; address safety risks promptly.
