Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our team in Houston, TX. The assignment is a 13-week contract with a 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM schedule and involves support in cardiac and vascular procedures.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years CVOR experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and is comfortable scrub and circulate roles. ARMStaffing provides health benefits, onboarding support, and travel housing allowances.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac and vascular surgery within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of complex cardiovascular procedures including open and endovascular surgery, CABG, and TAVR.
• Scrub and circulate within the cardiovascular operating room.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment during procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience specifically in a cardiovascular operating room.
• Must hold valid BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred: 5 years of experience in scrub and circulate roles.
