ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Surgery for a 13-week contract in Dallas, TX. Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Day Shift. You will join the Cardiovascular Operating Room team at Medical City Heart and Spine to support complex cardiovascular procedures.

You will prepare and maintain the sterile field, assist in medications, monitor patients, and document care in Meditech. Requires a Texas RN license; ACLS and BLS are required; CNOR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; CNOR preferred.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at Medical City Heart and Spine is equipped with 5 operating rooms, including 3 standard and 2 hybrid rooms, and staffed by a dedicated team. Nurses will work closely with a diverse lineup of professionals, including surgical techs, anesthesia techs, and patient care techs, to deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field for surgical procedures.
• Assist in the administration of medications and perform patient assessments.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide post-operative care.
• Document patient care and surgical details in the electronic medical record (Meditech).

Required Experience

• Strong experience in the cardiovascular operating room environment.
• Valid RN license for the state of Texas.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• CNOR certification is preferred.
