Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Arlington, TX for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate has OR experience in orthopedic and trauma procedures and holds a current RN license with PeriOp 101 certification.

Shifts are 7 AM - 7 PM with on-call requirements 4-6 times per month and holiday availability. The role emphasizes sterile technique, patient monitoring, EMR documentation, and collaboration with surgical teams to optimize outcomes.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in orthopedic and trauma procedures, and must be certified in PeriOp 101. This position requires taking calls 4-6 times a month as well as being available for upcoming holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia as per protocols.
• Document patient information and surgical procedures in the EMR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Completion of PeriOp 101.
• Experience in orthopedic and trauma surgery.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
