ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Orthopedic unit on a 13-week contract in Texas. You will care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including total knee and hip replacements, and work within a medical-surgical setting.

The role requires 2+ years MS RN experience, BLS, and an active TX RN license. Responsibilities include pre/post-op care, medication administration, wound care, and documenting in the Meditech system while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• Minimal wound care experience; orthopedic experience preferred.

7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekends and 2 major holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing with specialized experience in orthopedic care. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic procedures, including total knee and hip replacements.

Responsibilities

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active TX RN License (Temp License not accepted).
• BLS Certification.
• At least 2+ years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.
• Minimal wound care experience; orthopedic experience preferred.
