Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Johnstown, PA. The role involves direct patient care in the OR, assisting in surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes. Shift: Monday–Friday 06:30–15:00 with on-call duties during weekdays and weekends.

The Registered Nurse will perform various nursing duties in the Operating Room (OR), floating to the main OR as necessary. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, assisting in surgical procedures, and working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients.


• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.


• Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed.


• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the operating room.


• Participate in call duties as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS and BLS certification.


• 1-2 years of nursing experience in a surgical environment preferred.
