Job summary

The position emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and opportunities to participate in innovation projects, with a focus on evidence-based practice and top-of-license responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active or pending MA RN license or ability to obtain one.
• 1+ years RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and their families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
• Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects.
