Boston Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 5W Teaching and Innovation Unit, a Magnet-recognized organization delivering exceptional and equitable care across New England.

The RN will provide patient-centered nursing care in the Critical Care unit, participate in innovative care models, collaborate with interprofessional teams, and support ongoing education and professional development within a mission-driven system.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license or ability to obtain one.
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required in certain units.
• Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); ability to obtain BSN within 4 years.
• Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification may be required for certain areas.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fluency in another language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Deliver nursing care in the Critical Care unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients.
• Communicate with health care team members, patients, and families.
• Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter‑professional colleagues.
• Update and manage patient records.
• Enter and interpret computerized data/information.
• Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC’s nursing organization.
• Assist the leadership team in quality improvement projects.
