Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking an experienced RN for critical care in Patchogue, NY. The role focuses on rapidly assessing and intervening for critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment within a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring life-support systems, coordinating with physicians, and educating families about care plans. Flexible day and night shifts, with full-time and part-time options, are available.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• 1+ year ICU experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient condition and intervene as needed
• Monitor and care for critically ill/unstable patients
• Manage life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care, Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

• Shift(s) available: day shift and night shift

• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan

Salary: $73,450 to $127,496 /year
