Job summary

Incredible Health in Natick, MA is seeking an RN - Critical Care for night shifts across full-time, part-time, and per diem roles in a high-acuity ICU setting with collaborative teams and modern equipment.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN or higher nursing degree, an active RN license, and at least 1 year of critical care experience; ACLS is preferred. You will assess patients, monitor vitals, manage life-support systems, administer meds, and educate families.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1+ year ICU/CCU experience preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to function under stress.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor critically ill and unstable patients.
• Manage life-support systems including ventilation and telemetry.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about the care plan.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
• Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
• Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
