Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking an RN - Critical Care in San Antonio, TX to care for critically ill patients in high-acuity units. The nurse will rapidly assess patients, monitor vital signs, manage life-support systems, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

The role requires an ADN or higher nursing degree and an active RN license, with ACLS certification preferred and 1+ year ICU experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care.
• Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions.
• Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations.
• Administer medications and other treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.
