Job summary

Incredible Health in New Brunswick, NJ is hiring an RN - Critical Care to join a Magnet-recognized teaching hospital. You will care for critically ill patients, operate advanced medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans.

Shifts include day and night, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options. Ideal candidates have ADN+ or higher, active RN license, 1+ year ICU experience, and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license is required.
• 1+ year ICU experience preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and intervene as needed.
• Support care for critically ill or unstable patients and respond to emergencies.
• Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and cardiac monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations.
• Administer medications and other treatments per care plan.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Salary: $70,920 to $117,990 /year
