Job summary

Incredible Health in Marietta, GA is seeking an RN - Critical Care to join a high-acuity unit. You will care for critically ill patients, operate life-support systems, and collaborate with physicians to implement care plans. Shifts include day, night, and mid shifts with full-time, part-time, or per diem opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher, an active RN license, and 1+ years ICU experience; ACLS is preferred. Strong critical thinking and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • ADN or higher nursing degree required.
  • Active RN license in good standing.
  • 1+ years ICU/critical care experience preferred.
  • ACLS certification preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain composure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.
  • Monitor and care for critically ill patients and unstable conditions.
  • Manage life-support systems and telemetry.
  • Participate in rapid response and emergencies as needed.
  • Administer medications and treatments per orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications
  • ADN or higher degree in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred

Responsibilities
  • Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
  • Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
  • Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
  • Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
  • Administer medications and other treatments
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
