Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for Newport, Vermont. Local pay is $63.00 per hour (W2) with additional travel pay options and stipends based on 36 hours of work.

The role emphasizes high-quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, EMR documentation, and interprofessional collaboration.

Competenze

• Current VT license/certification required.
• Minimum of 1+ year RN experience in the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV if required by licensing board or verification agency.
• Copy of current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Local Pay: $ 63.00 /hour - W2

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $32.21, Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00,

Total Comp: $2,441.56

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Day Shift
• 12 hour shifts

Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted VT license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year within the last 3 years of recent experience as an RN
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
