Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. in Socorro, NM is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our corrections-focused team.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, accurate EMR documentation, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. This travel-enabled position offers a 12-hour shift Fri, Sat, Sun with travel pay, stipends for lodging and meals, and a benefits package including CEUs, 401(k), and insurance coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or AS in Nursing required.
• Current NM RN license.
• Active BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency if required.
• Copy of current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $29.50 Stipend (Lodging $770.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,246.00,

Total Comp: $2,308.00

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
• Current RN license in State of NM,
• Active BLS, ACLS
• Minimum of one (1) year experience within the last 3 years
• Additional certifications may be required
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
