Job summary

HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Santa Fe, NM. Local pay is $48.00/hour with a travel package available for eligible candidates.

Join our team to provide direct patient care under supervision, administer medications, document in EMR, and support patients and families. Requirements include NM LPN license, 1 year of LPN experience, nursing degree, and active BLS.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NM license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an LPN.
• A degree from an accredited school of Nursing.
• Active BLS.
• Copy of PSV from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of RN or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Local Pay: $48.00/hour

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $23.00 Stipend (Lodging $672.00 + M&I $413.00) = $1085.00

Total Comp :$1,913.00

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details:

• Days, 3x12, 36hrs/week

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NM license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of one (1) year/s of recent experience as an LPN

• A degree from an accredited school of Nursing

• Active BLS

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g.,. BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
