Job summary

HANSTAFF is seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) - Corrections to join our client’s medical facility in Monroe, WA. The role features local pay rates at $73.00 per hour on a W2 basis, with night shifts and a 40-hour week (or as needed), offering weekly pay and benefits.

Responsibilities include triaging, assessing and treating inmates’ medical and mental health needs, administering medications, responding to emergencies, and providing high-quality nursing care within a corrections setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the state in which the position is located, in good standing.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience in corrections.

• Triaging, assessing, and treating inmates’ medical needs during incarceration.
• Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations.
• Administering medications, wound care, and other nursing interventions as directed by medical staff.
• Serving as first responder in emergencies and crisis situations.
• Performing general nursing duties such as monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, and diagnotic support.

Local Rates Pay Rate: $73.00 / hour *W2

RN Details

• 8 Hours ,40hrs per week or as needed.
• 1400-2230 W/TH
• Nights, Wed / Thu

RN Duties

• Triaging, assessing, and treating inmates’ chronic, acute, psycho logical, and medical needs during incarceration
• Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations
• Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff
• Serving as first responder in emergencies and crisis situations
• Performing other general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc.

RN Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited educational institution
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
• Minimum of one (2) recent years of nursing experience in Corrections
