Job summary

HANSTAFF is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a facility in Shelton, WA. The role involves direct patient care under physician and RN supervision, with shifts 12:00–22:30 Wednesday through Saturday. The LPN will monitor patients, administer medications, document EMR entries, and support wound care as needed.

Ideal candidates hold WA LPN licensure in good standing and have at least one year of nursing experience. The position offers competitive pay and full benefits through a W2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse registered in WA, license must be in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of physicians and RNs.
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and report changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with wound care and other nursing procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in EMR.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement care plans.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Shift Details:

• 1200-2230 Wed-Sat

LPN Duties

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and registered nurses.
• Assess patients, monitor and record vital signs, and report changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with wound care, dressings, and other nursing procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and post-care instructions.
• Follow infection control, safety, and emergency response protocols.
• Comply with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
• Maintain all required certifications, training, and employment-related documentation.

LPN Qualifications

• Licensed as aLicensed Practical Nurse by the State inWA. The license MUST be in good standing
