Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Licensed RN for a corrections facility in Columbia, SC. The RN will work day shift, provide triage, assessment, and treatment for inmates’ medical needs, and support mental health care under supervision.

The position requires an active RN license in good standing in the state and at least 2 years in Post Anesthesia Care. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and 401k, with competitive local pay rates.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of employment in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Triages, assesses, and treats inmates’ chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs.
• Assesses and provides mental health care including patient evaluations.
• Administers medications, wounds care, and other nursing interventions as directed.
