Job summary

Journey is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team at The Reserve at Fort Gaines in Fort Gaines, GA. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with a compassionate team, and uphold high standards of safety and quality.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, and CPR certification. Prior long-term care experience is preferred. We offer competitive pay, a strong team environment, and benefits including a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the practicing state is required.
• An accredited nursing degree is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Promotes holistic care following the nursing model.
• Ensures policy compliance by nursing staff.
• Participates in admissions, discharges and transfers as required.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status and communicates with physicians and families.
• Transcribes physician orders to medical records and carries out orders.
