Journey seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the nursing team at our Fort Valley, GA facility. You will supervise CNAs, ensure quality resident care, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role requires an RN license, a nursing degree, and CPR certification. Prior long-term care experience is preferred. We offer professional development, a supportive environment, and benefits including life insurance, 401(k), and cell phones.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Directs the daily activities of the licensed practical/vocational nurse and CNAs in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Promotes holistic resident care following the nursing model.
• Ensures staff compliance with policies and procedures.
• Participates in admissions, discharges, and transfers as required.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status and notifies physicians and families, documenting promptly.
• Transcribes physician orders to the medical record and carries out orders as written.
