Job summary

State of South Carolina seeks Registered Nurses for the Coastal Regional Center, an ICF-IID in Summerville, to provide compassionate, patient-centered care across units. Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in SC.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, practices, theories and techniques.
• Ability to plan, organize, supervise and evaluate the work of other employees.

Responsibilities

• Maintain acute medical issues for the facility in the absence of the Nurse Supervisor.
• Manage medications and procedures according to guidelines.
• Document and participate in rehabilitation programs.
• Act as health care coordinator for assigned units and follow Health Care Guidelines.
• Assess nursing needs, initiate interventions and ensure licensing/certification compliance.
• Provide guidance and develop nursing staff for quality care.
• Collaborate with the ISP to integrate nursing care plans with individuals.
