Job summary
State of South Carolina’s Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Coastal Regional Center is seeking a Nursing Professional. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure staffing coverage, and provide leadership to meet licensing standards while fostering quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The role requires RN licensure in SC, nursing education, and strong supervisory skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Supervises nursing staff on assigned shifts to support the nursing department's mission and functions.
- Maintains nursing schedule and coverage to meet target staffing levels; conducts interviews for vacancies.
- Provides leadership to ensure compliance with Federal/State regulations and BHDD/OIDD policies.
- Keeps abreast of nursing trends and participates in educational programs.
- Performs activities to build morale as directed by the Director of Nursing.
