Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and oversees unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models alignment with the organization’s mission and values to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure efficient patient flow and care quality.
  • Participate in ongoing quality assessments of patient care services.
  • Collaborate to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first approach and engage in service recovery as needed.
  • Implement nursing strategies like employee rounding and service initiatives to boost engagement.
  • Contribute to staff hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Help with staff scheduling and manage staffing needs according to patient care demands.
  • Support inventory and supply management.
Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
  • Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
