Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all unit functions during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC oversees nursing care, serves as a resource, and models our organization's values to support excellent patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

What You Will Do in This Role

  • Assist with admissions and discharges to ensure efficient throughput and quality care.
  • Participate in assessing the quality of care provided.
  • Collaborate with team members to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
  • Implement nursing strategies to enhance engagement, such as employee rounding.
  • Contribute to staffing decisions, training, and performance management.
  • Manage staff scheduling and inventory control.

What Qualifications You Will Need

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification to be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of applicable experience required.
