Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and unit coordination during the shift. Collaborating with management, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource, and models our organization’s values to support excellent patient experience and outcomes.

What You Will Do In This Role

  • Assist with admission and discharge to ensure efficient, quality care.
  • Assess the quality of patient care services regularly.
  • Collaborate to create a teamwork environment supporting improved outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when needed.
  • Implement nursing strategies to improve engagement, such as rounding initiatives.
  • Contribute to staff hiring, training, and development, including performance evaluations and conflict resolution.
  • Manage staff scheduling and labor costs.
  • Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment.

What Qualifications You Will Need

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification required within 60 days of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience required.
