Job Summary and Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions during the shift. In collaboration with management, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s values to support excellent patient experiences and outcomes.

What You Will Do In This Role
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput.
  • Participate in ongoing quality assessments of patient care services.
  • Collaborate to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery efforts.
  • Implement nursing strategies to enhance engagement, such as employee rounding.
  • Contribute to staff hiring, training, and development, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor costs.
  • Support inventory control and equipment management.
What Qualifications You Will Need
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Oncology Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certification must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of applicable experience required.
