Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a field-based Manager of Clinical Support to lead nursing supervision across centers, collaborate with regional and central leaders, and drive quality, patient experience, and safety in alignment with CVS Health standards.

The role requires a nursing license, substantial nursing and management experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills; travel is required and hybrid work is supported in Oklahoma City or Kansas City areas.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a registered nurse.
• Typically > 5 years relevant experience; Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
• 5 years management experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage and lead projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated skill in problem solving, critical thinking, conflict resolution, and exceptional communication skills.
• A flexible and positive attitude, and a strong desire to change the traditional primary care paradigm.
• High emotional intelligence as evidenced by ability to evaluate/perceive a situation from multiple lenses.
• Wide-ranging knowledge and experience of own job area within business unit or function, and may have advanced knowledge and practical experience of specific technical areas.
• Practical experience in leadership and management techniques

Responsibilities

• Align on a plan to achieve quarterly and annual nursing goals in accordance with regional targets in patient care, quality, and experience.
• Support recruitment and hiring of clinical staff and promote team diversity.
• Prioritize clinical team member retention and foster an inclusive culture.
• Remain knowledgeable of industry standards and state regulations.
• Advise nursing leadership on performance and opportunities to improve care outcomes and engagement.
• Collaborate on implementation of clinical standards and processes to streamline operations.
• Work with teams to implement new clinical services and programs.
• Refine central policies locally for patient safety and flow.
• Ensure patient safety program goals are executed consistently in centers.
