Job summary
Oak Street Health is seeking a field-based Manager of Clinical Support to lead nursing teams across a region, driving recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development for Nurses, MAs, and Phlebotomists. You will collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet patient care goals and ensure quality outcomes.
The role requires RN licensure, nursing leadership experience, and a passion for improving patient care in community settings.
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse (RN).
- Bachelor degree in nursing strongly preferred; advanced degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Align on quarterly and annual nursing goals with regional targets.
- Support recruitment and hiring of clinical staff to reflect community diversity.
- Ensure onboarding for nursing staff and ongoing nursing development programs.
- Support development and execution of nursing education and competencies.
- Directly manage MA and RN preceptors in the region.
- Promote retention through engagement and inclusive culture.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and state regulations.
- Advise leadership on performance, care outcomes, and employee engagement.
- Collaborate to implement clinical operational standards and improve patient flow.
